Breadstick is a thin, crispy cracker-like bread originated from Italy, also known as grissini. Grissini is a pencil-size dry cracker which is dipped with sauces and served as appetizer or snacks. It’s variation, for example, soft breadstick is larger and softer, like a long bread roll. Soft breadsticks topped with garlics, butter, cheese and spices are served like a savory dinner roll in restaurants. Aside from topping, jam, cream, chocolate, peanut butter, cheese, minced meat, chopped vegetables, eggs and mores can be stuffed into soft breadstick.
