Shaping the mashed sweet potato into the shape of mini sweet potato, they egg-washed and baked the dessert. Featuring the soft and tender skin, sweet potato Japanese dessert had not only eased the homesick of the wagashi owner but become a tribute to the Japanese emperor, and now a famous souvenir of Hualien.
