Songpyeon

Songpyeon is a traditional Korean food made from glutinous rice. Koreans eat it during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which they call Chuseok (추석). It is one of the representative foods of traditional Korean culture. Songpyeon is often filled with sesame seeds, chestnut paste, or red bean paste, and is steamed on a layer of pine needles, giving it a pine aroma, which is how it got its name.
